Olivier is IP network consultant with 7 years of experience (CCIE n°14041) and works on network devices only (Cisco, Juniper, etc...). He decide to increase his 'system' competences by creating FreeNAS there is 1 year, that permit him to discover FreeBSD and PHP. Olivier is not a developer, neither a BSD guru.. He is a simple user that decide to play with m0n0wall for answer to its NAS needs. Hobbies: His familly and underwater photography. Network-attached storage (NAS) is the name given to dedicated data storage technology that can be connected directly to a computer network to provide centralized data access and storage to heterogeneous network clients. NAS has increased in popularity as storage requirements and disk capacity escalate.
